I take pen in hand to thank you for your hospitality and kindness. We, the
Fifth Virginia Infantry have to say that we have been blessed by your
small touches; the snacks and coffee, use of the bathroom, and even
letting us sleep on your porch. (Sorry about the bear)
I would like to thank you also for the tea and cakes. They were first rate
and the special tea, that was first rate as well.
We have enjoyed being here and are looking forward to being here for many
years to come.

We enjoyed Nana's Room, the antiques, wonderful dolls and your company. Our rest at Port Republic and your breakfast was perfect. We enjoyed your cat, Itsy, she is a darling. God Bless you. Hope to be back soon.

Thank you so much for making our escape from DC over the 4th so enjoyable. The cottage was perfect and the bed is the most comfortable I've slept in while on the road. Your local Port Republic fireworks were the perfect touch as we watched them over the trees while sitting on the cottage porch. Your food is amazing, your home is wonderful and the two of you are just fabulous people. I think we are already planning our next ride trip down! We will be back.
